Meet Your Freelance Writers
Diana is a writer and has been since seventh grade when she decided turn her vocabulary sentences into stories and the other students begged her to read the stories aloud. Writing has been a priority ever since. From her high school newspaper to Master’s Degree research papers Diana has always taken the most pleasure in her work when she is using words to communicate ideas to others.
After five years writing technical documents, computer based training and user’s guides as a Document Specialist at a Fortune 500 company in Norfolk, Diana needed a new challenge. A desire for a larger variety of writing and the independence of owning her own business caused McCauley Writing and Consulting to be born. Diana can now do what she loves: use the power of words to help businesses, non-profit organizations and individuals communicate with their customers and community. She is passionate about learning the unique qualities each of her client’s possess and communicating those attributes to an audience so that leads turn into loyal customers.
Aside from writing for her clients, Diana loves living in Virginia Beach with her husband and their son. When she isn’t on her computer, she loves to go for walks with her family, read books and care for her house plants.
For McCauley Writing and Consulting, Diana handles most of the training, copy-writing, marketing and social media clients. To contact Diana call 757-828-6938 or email her at Diana.McCauleyWriting@gmail.com.
You read a lot of cases when you’re in law school, cases about accidents, malpractice and breached contracts. Cases with good outcomes and a lot with bad results. Though it can make you cynical about the human condition, it also teaches you how very important it is to communicate well.
This lesson was firmly impressed upon Erik while in law school and now as a family law and wills trusts and estates attorney he specializes in helping his legal clients communicate their desires, even from the grave. Erik enjoys using his professional and practical experience to identify exactly what businesses need and uses his writing and editing skills to deliver. For his writing clients he specializes in making complicated ideas accessible and easy to understand.
He enjoys writing legal-themed articles, papers, and posts, and making them understandable for the general public, but has also written for the business and medical communities. His experience as Senior Editor for Regent’s Law Review means that his editing skills have been well honed, so that his editing clients have pristine polished content to present to their readers.
Erik enjoys reading extensively about a variety of topics, particularly World War II and Roman history, and playing the guitar in his free time. He also loves to learn new languages and has studied both Spanish and Latin, and hopes to eventually find the time to add biblical Greek to the list.
For McCauley Writing and Consulting Erik does the copy editing and writes case studies, whitepapers and blogs about business. To contact Erik call 757-828-6938 or email him at Erik.McCauleyWriting@gmail.com.
